Welcome to the CoV-2 Surveillance Screening Research Group

COVID has wrought havoc on our lives since the beginning of 2020. Even with the rollout of vaccines, a general consensus is emerging among the scientific community that a return to normalcy does not lie in a single “magic bullet,” but in a multifaceted approach. By way of example, the CDC has recently suggested that preventative asymptomatic screening could play an important role in containing COVID. However, no policy suggestion will be helpful unless implemented on a large scale.

Society at large has an interest in has an interest in preventing a reoccurrence of COVID, and people safely returning to their regular routines. We are trying to contribute to this goal by conducting research on the role of preventative COVID screening/testing in schools, long-term care facilities, summer camps, offices, and other institutional environments. The research seeks to gain insight into the way various entities have employed preventative COVID screening/testing in the past or may do so in the future.

We understand potential survey participants are busy, but broad participation in this brief survey is very important to get valid data. It should take fewer than 5 minutes to complete. If you are not the correct person in your organization to complete this survey, please forward it to such person.

The goal of the survey is to gain information that may help ease the transition back to greater normalcy. All responses will be kept anonymous, and compiled results will be shared with all participants who self-identify once the research is complete. Thank you in advance for your time and participation in this high-impact project, with potential benefits throughout society.
